Duru Lival Teff

The origin of Teff – known for more than 3000 years, and adapted to harsh climate – is Ethiopia. Teff contains high levels of vitamin B6, magnesium, iron and fiber. It is also a source of protein, niacin, potassium and calcium. Soft an flavor-wise similar to chestnut, Teff can be used both as wholegrain, as well as it can be added to bread, cakes, and pancakes in flour form.

Preparation Tip for Product

Add 3 cups of water to 1 cup of Teff, and cook for 15-20 minutes. Set aside for resting for 5 minutes until water is absorbed. Add to salad, milk or yoghurt after cooled.
