Bulgur With Spices And Apple


  • 2 tablespoons of riviera olive oil
  • 1 medium size onion (chopped)
  • 1 clove of garlic (chopped)
  • 2 teaspoons of crushed fresh ginger
  • 1 glass of Extra Coarse Bulgur
  • ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 3 glasses of chicken broth
  • 1 medium size apple
  • ½ glass of dry yellow grapes

1-Heat oil at medium temperature. Add onion, garlic and ginger. Cook them by mixing for 5 minutes until onions soften.

2-Add bulgur and mix until it fries. Add cinnamon and chicken broth, and let it boil.

3-Slow down the heat, close the cap and boil bulgur for 15 minutes until water is absorbed. In the meantime, slice the apple.

4-Mix the apple and dry grapes with bulgur, close the cap and take it from the cooker after 2 minutes of more cooking.
