Leadership transition
In 1976, İhsan Duru joined the partnership. After Ziya Duru's passing in 1979, Emin Duru joined the company as a partner in 1982.

Two 80-sized stones were added, and drying and cooling drums were introduced, doubling production capacity.

The first Duru factory producing at high standards
Duru Bulgur Limited Company was established in 1988, laying the foundations of the first factory, completed in 1991.

In response to high market demand, 1 kg packages were introduced.

Duru expanded its expertise to include chickpeas, beans, and lentils, bringing these products to market shelves.

In collaboration with Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University, Duru began working on Ahmet Wheat, a local wheat variety of Karaman.

Duru Pratik products, made from pre-cooked legumes, were introduced for consumers seeking convenience without sacrificing taste.
2020
Sustainable energy solutions for a sustainable future
In 2019, a 6.4 MW solar energy unit was installed on the 24,000 m² roof of the legume plant, providing 85% of the facility's electricity.

Duru Pratik Ready Meals: the most convenient form of homemade food
Duru Pratik Ready Meals, slow-cooked with a homemade taste, made their way to market shelves.
