Traditional Tabbouleh Salad

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of hot water
  • 1 cup of Duru Fine Bulgur
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 4-5 pcs. Scallions
  • 3 white onions
  • 1 red onion
  • ¼ bunch of mint
  • 1 tomato
  • 6-7 tblsp. of olive oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. black pepper
  • For serving
  • Pomegranate

 

1- In a large salad bowl add hot water, Duru Fine Bulgur, lemon juice and olive oil. Slowly mix all the ingredients, and leave to rest until water is absorbed.

2- Mix bulgur slowly to prevent sticking

3- Add finely chopped onion, parsley, scallions, red onions, mint, tomatoes, salt and black pepper. Mix slowly.

4- Transfer salad to a salad bowl and add pomegranate on top.
