During the 3day fair, Duru Bulgur succeeded to endear bulgur to Filipinos who consume 3 meals of rice daily as their usual diet. Bulgur was loved by people of Manila, who tasted many different dishes made of bulgur. Chef Pablo – a chef widely known in Philippines – prepared 5 to 6 traditional dishes of Philippines using bulgur instead of rice. Filipinos appreciated a chance to learn about benefits of bulgur, and details about how bulgur is produced. Bulgur received a lot of attention during the busy tasting.
